Come and learn some harmony songs with a focus on equality and rights for LGBTQ+ people, and to celebrate rights won.
All welcome - no singing experience needed.
Portobello Community Choir is open to anyone who likes to sing. We aim to joyfully connect with each other, the earth and the world around us through song.
Saturday 18 June at 11am, Prom end of King's Road (ending at Joppa bandstand)
There will be free dog biscuits! At the Joppa bandstand, have a chat with LGBTQ+ Oral History Project. Gogo Beets (165 Portobello High Street) is offering 10% off to anybody with a dog bandana from the event.

Meet for a Porty Pride 5K around the beach, with coffees, beers or pizzas afterward. Brightest / boldest outfit gets a drink on us!

Keep Porty Tidy are excited to host this beach clean as part of the weekend's events!

Sarah Drummond is the director of Section 28: A Forgotten Generation, a film sharing the experiences of children (now adults) and teachers impacted by Section 28.
The film is still in development, so come along to find out more about it and Section 28 more generally.

St Marks will provide a space during the weekend for anyone who needs a break from the excitement and would like some quiet.
