Event Description
Depending on the wind and weather, Portobello Sailing Club are offering 20-minute taster trips in Wayfarer dinghies (2-3 participants per boat)
Leaving from the beach in front of the club (beside the Beach House Cafe).
Participants will need to sign a disclaimer form
Wear warm outdoor clothing and be prepared to roll-up trousers etc. or wear wellies to climb into the boat from the water's edge.
Buoyancy aids will be provided and a safety boat will be monitoring.
About the Organisers
Portobello’s community sea sports club - PKSC is a friendly and active club on the shores of the Firth of Forth, a few miles from the centre of Edinburgh and in the heart of the thriving community of Portobello. Based at on the Promenade at the bottom of Bath Street, members – with appropriate qualifications and experience – can use our sailing dinghies, kayaks and St Ayles rowing skiffs.
