Portobello High School proactively engaged with Porty Pride and we are excited to share we have a photography exhibition project for a group of the young folk to take part in. They were asked to photograph what Pride in Community means to them.
Images for this exhibition were selected from the young people’s shortlist with support from photographer Alicia Bruce of Portobello Photography School. Alicia enjoyed seeing the range of images and projects undertaken by the students who had a clear interest in documenting Pride visibility and solidarity in our local community.
Portobello Photography School is based by Edinburgh’s seaside. We provide supportive outdoor photography workshops led by award winning professional photographer, community collaborator and experienced educator Alicia Bruce. Our founder and tutor has twenty years of professional photography experience and is a qualified educator with over fifteen years of teaching experience.
